I'm an IRONMAN!
IRONMAN California
On Sunday night at 10:40 PM, I officially became an IRONMAN 🦾 Crossing the finish line after 140.6 miles of swimming, biking, and running was one of the most emotional and rewarding moments of my life 🙏
As I’ve reflected over the last few days, I can’t help but feel completely overwhelmed with gratitude. I’m grateful for this amazing pit crew that supported me all weekend long and showed up about a dozen times along the route to cheer me on. I’m grateful for the hundreds of messages I received before, during, and after the race - at moments when I really needed them. I’m grateful for every volunteer who handed me the fuel I needed at each rest stop (SO many bananas and electrolytes). I’m grateful for my husband(!!) for putting up with my annoying training schedule this year and picking me up from many bike rides. I’m grateful for the people in my life who have inspired me to push myself and do hard things. I’m grateful for my healthy body that allowed me to move for almost 15 hours straight. And most of all… I’m SO grateful it’s over 🤣

IRONMAN 70.3 Washington
I also completed my 2nd Half Ironman last month in the Tri Cities, which was great training for the Full Ironman. I shaved 9+ minutes off my previous time and had a blast doing it with friends. No more Ironmans for a while though!
Getting Married
Another big life update... I got married!! Brian and I walked by this shotgun wedding chapel hundreds of times when we lived in Georgetown, and we always joked around about getting married here. As we’ve been planning our wedding in Palm Springs next month, we also wanted to plan a special day in Washington where all of our grandparents could join, and we knew just the place
