Last Week of April!

Happy Friday and last day of April! Here's a lil vlog I made about my week :)

I've been thinking a lot lately about balance. I've heard many people say that work-life balance "doesn't exist". While I understand what they're saying and agree that balance is very difficult to achieve, I think that life is ALL about balance. We juggle a lot of priorities on any given day - our families, friends, careers, finances, health, fitness, mental health, and more. I think the key to balance is self-awareness and constant self-evaluation so that we can give attention to whatever areas of our lives need it most. What areas of your life do you need to prioritize in May?

7-Year Real Estate Anniversary

Last week, I celebrated 7 years since I got my real estate license. Full transparency - the ONLY reason I originally got my license was so that I could say that I'm a 4th-generation real estate agent. I had no idea that I'd find myself falling in love with the industry and building a real estate company with my family 7 Years later. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this crazy journey!

Appreciate How Far You've Come

Earlier this week, I got lunch with a friend, and he reminded me to appreciate how far I’ve come. If you’re ever feeling discouraged or unmotivated, think about where you were at in life 5 years ago. Even if this week, month, or year isn’t going as planned, things will get better. Your past does not define you. Today is Day 1 of the rest of your life. You are capable of so much more than you can even imagine.

Port Townsend

My friends closed on a house on Whidbey Island a few weeks ago, so I decided to make a little trip out of it and spend the night at a hotel across the water. I took the ferry over to Whidbey the next morning, worked from a coffee shop all day (my happy place), and then met my clients to hand over the keys. Have I mentioned that I love what I do?

"When you have balance in your life, work becomes an entirely different experience. There is a passion that moves you to a whole new level of fulfillment and gratitude, and that's when you can do your best... for yourself and for others." - Cara Delevingne
