Hitting 10,000 Steps 700 Days in a Row

Last weekend, I hit day 700 in a row hitting 10,000 steps. This is by far my favorite daily habit that I've adopted over the last few years. It forces me to move my body and get fresh air daily, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Anyone want to join me?

No Shave November

My challenge for last month was to complete No Shave November. I fully shaved for the first time in years and had a mini panic every time I looked in the mirror. Thankfully it grew back quickly!

The North Pole at Edison Square

The 10th Annual Tacoma Santa Parade took place this weekend, and we transformed Edison Square into the North Pole. We kicked off the day with a ribbon cutting with Santa, Mrs. Clause, the Mayor of Tacoma, and more. This article in the Tacoma Weekly shares more about this special day.

Ironman Reflections

It's been almost 3 months since I crossed the finish line at my first half Ironman! As someone who is generally pretty goal-oriented, I’m always hit with a weird unsettled feeling after completing a big goal that I’ve set for myself. After the Ironman, I felt proud, accomplished, and relieved. But those emotions were accompanied by the same “what’s next” feeling that I experienced after climbing Mount Rainier.

Over the last 3 months, I have really enjoyed the freedom and flexibility of not having something to train for, but I’m realizing that I feel the most fulfilled in life when I have something that I’m working toward.

I’m a huge believer in rest, balance, and giving yourself grace. But I also believe that developing self-awareness about how we’re wired and what makes us tick is one of the keys to fulfillment in life.

So what’s next? Time to figure that out

The Podcast

We are 14 episodes into this podcasting journey! The hour I spend recording with Jamie is easily one of my favorite hours of the week. We've talked about everything from fitness to relationships. From vacations to depression.  And our weekends of course. Thank you to everyone who has listened so far!

Final House Reveal

We've officially been Renton Residents for 2 months, and we're loving it so far. Check out our home! HERE is the before video, and the final result is below!

Returning to UW

Always a good time returning to the UW campus. Had fun reminiscing with my friend Chad about our glory days as co-presidents of the UW American Marketing Association. I’m eternally grateful for the opportunity to go to college, learn from some incredible minds, and surround myself with people who pushed me way outside my comfort zone. Go dawgs!

Family Trips

Had the chance to go on 2 family trips over the last couple months to Mexico and Canada. These were our first family trips in a while, and the quality fam bam time was much-needed. Feeling beyond blessed
